Herts for Learning offers a number of subscription services, shown below, which allow member schools to access restricted content on the website.
PA Plus has been developed to support schools in implementing the national curriculum. The subscription service contains primary core teaching, learning and assessment material focussed on the curriculum and provides new approaches to mid-term planning. New and updated resources are added regularly and are available to subscribing schools only.
The Primary Computing Scheme provides a creative approach to delivering the 2014 computing curriculum. It supports the teaching and the development of computing, building computer science capability and digital literacy for current and future learning. The scheme is organised into four phases, Early Years, KS1, lower KS2 and upper KS2, with learning themes for each.
In response to feedback, from September 2016 Herts for Learning will be expanding and improving the Primary Computing Scheme. As part of the service, subscribers will have access to a new online area where additional materials will be provided, and regularly updated, to support teachers in delivering the computing curriculum.
To meet the demands of the changes to the secondary English curriculum at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, the English Team at Herts for Learning have developed a suite of bespoke resources including fully resourced schemes of work with detailed short term plans. Available for subscribing schools only.
The Early Years Outcomes Toolkit enables practitioners, leaders and managers in PVI settings and schools to track and analyse the progress of individuals and groups of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. The Annual subscription provides settings access to updates to the application and email support.
