The HfL Customer Services team provides a wide range of administration support services to the whole Company. The Events Coordinator will work as part of the HfL Customer Services team which is committed to providing customer service excellence at all times. The post holder will event manage, coordinate and deliver a range of high profile conferences and events that support HfL’s strategic purpose of improving quality and standards in schools, whilst maintaining the highest possible standards of customer care at all times.

Full time, permanent contract, 37 hours per week

Based in Stevenage, salary from £25,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic SIMS software specialist to join our dedicated and friendly SIMS Support Team.  In this role you will be involved in supporting schools via our service desk and providing training, both on site in schools and at the Hertfordshire Development Centre in Stevenage, to develop and support effective use of the software for users.  There will also be the opportunity to suggest, contribute to and develop new services, with the support of other members of the team.

You should be a highly motivated, flexible and collaborative team player who can manage your own workload to meet deadlines and contribute to new projects. You must have excellent communication skills, be a fast learner, have good problem solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, use your initiative and be committed to supporting schools.

Experience of using and/or supporting SIMS software modules is essential and knowledge of other ICT applications is an advantage, although training will also be given.  Experience of working in schools or a training delivery environment is required as is a good understanding of school administrative procedures.  Although full time is preferred we may consider a term time plus contract for the right candidate.

A driving licence and use of a car for work purposes is required, for which mileage will be paid.

Financial Services for Schools are looking to appoint Schools Financial Advisers who possess accounting experience and can demonstrate their ability to explain financial information to budget holders and managers.

The post holder will be responsible for confident delivery of accounting and financial management advice to schools with minimal supervision. Financial accounting and bookkeeping experience is essential, as is the ability to apply financial regulations and policies.  As this is a peripatetic role you will be working across a group of schools within the county of Hertfordshire and therefore the ability to travel to schools will be required.
