ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Do you have administration experience and would you like to work for a highly respected company within its sector?   Are you passionate about providing customer service excellence?  If so, then we are looking for an Administration Support Assistant to join our experienced Administration Support team.

The HfL Administration Support team provides a wide range of administration support services to the whole Company and are committed to providing customer service excellence at all times. The post holder will provide professional, wide ranging and high quality administration support services including diary management, minute taking and the preparation of reports, letters and documentation. You will also be the first point of contact for callers to the Customer Services enquiry line.  With excellent attention to detail and good IT skills you will be required to work effectively and flexibly with internal and external customers.

TECHNICAL SERVICE DESK ANALYST - 2ND LINE

Full time, permanent contract, 37 hours per week

Salary from £18,000 - £21,000 p.a. (depending on experience)

Based in Stevenage

The ICT Services Team is a highly regarded schools’ support team delivering Technical and Network support to more than 600 schools and children’s centres in Hertfordshire and beyond. We are seeking to fill a vacant 2nd Line Technical Service Desk post which is based in our offices in Stevenage. You will be joining an enthusiastic team, with a strong commitment to delivering quality services, who have excellent relationships with their customers.

Applicants to the second line post must have, and be able to demonstrate, extensive technical and network knowledge and experience of troubleshooting within a server/client environment, along with excellent communication and problem solving skills. A technical assessment will take place at interview stage.

INFORMATION SERVICES CONSULTANT

Full time, permanent contract, 37 hours per week (preferred)

Salary from £23,000 to £30,000 p.a. (depending on experience)

Based in Stevenage

Due to retirement and internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with experience of using SIMS in a school environment to join our dedicated and friendly SIMS Support Team. In this role you will be involved in supporting schools via our service desk and providing training, both on site in schools and at the Hertfordshire Development Centre in Stevenage, to develop and support effective use of the software for users. There will also be the opportunity to suggest, contribute to and develop new services, with the support of other members of the team.

You should be a highly motivated, flexible and collaborative team player who can manage your own workload to meet deadlines and contribute to new projects. You must have excellent communication skills, be a fast learner, have good problem solving skills, the ability to work under pressure and be committed to supporting schools.

Experience of using and/or supporting a variety of SIMS software modules in a school environment is essential to the role. However, additional training will be provided for the successful candidate. Experience of presenting and/or producing documentation would be advantageous, as is a good understanding of school administrative procedures. A full driving license and use of your own car is essential (business mileage will be paid). Although full time is preferred, we may consider a term time plus contract for the right candidate.
