EARLY YEARS CONSULTANT

Starting salary from £38,000 p.a. + (pro rata for part time) based on appropriate skills and experience

1 year fixed term maternity cover (37 hours per week, part time considered but no less than 22.2 hours per week)

EXECUTIVE SUPPORT OFFICER - PERMANENT

Are you an experienced PA looking for a change or fed up of commuting to London?

This role is an exciting opportunity to have an impact on the success of our company by making sure everything runs smoothly for our Managing Director and Senior Leaders and they have what they need to do their jobs well and make a difference to the education of children and young people of Hertfordshire. You will be working closely with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team across all areas of the business.

The Executive Support Team provides a professional, comprehensive and high quality executive support service to the Managing Director, Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors. This is a multi-faceted role covering a range of support across all aspects of the work of the company’s leadership team.

The Executive Support Officer will have excellent IT skills, work well as part of a team and remain calm and efficient when dealing with a constantly changing workload, often with short notice. Superb interpersonal and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and a confident, proactive, resilient, teamwork approach are essential.

The successful candidate will have significant experience supporting company executives at a senior level in a PA type role with some PA/administration experience already and wanting to expand their experience and progress to the next stage in their career.

TRAINING AND EVENTS ASSISTANT

Full Time, 37 hours per week

£15,000 + pension (employee contribution rate of 1% matched by a 10% contribution from Herts for Learning) + performance related bonus

Based in Stevenage

The Herts for Learning (HfL) runs over 800 courses each year and 20+ large conferences nationally.

The Training and Events Assistant would suit a candidate that is looking to start their career within training, events or office administration and will work as part of the HfL Customer Services team which is committed to providing customer service excellence at all times.

You will work within the Customer Services Team to support the growing demands on their Training and Events service. The post holder will provide customer service support to ensure high quality training course administration before, after and during our training and events.

The post holder will have a proactive attitude and be an excellent communicator, be highly motivated, enthusiastic and respond positively to an exciting and varied role.

The role will require some overnight stays and evening work. A number of our events are off site so a driving license is required.

LEAD ADVISER - DIMINISHING THE DIFFERENCE

Full time - permanent contract, 37 hours per week

£64,000 p.a. plus excellent pension and performance bonus

Based in Stevenage

Herts for Learning has created this exciting new post. Reporting directly to the Education Services Director (ESD) for disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils, you will lead the work on raising standards for pupils supported by the pupil premium and those who are vulnerable in their learning. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, well organised people who are passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.

You will be working within a highly valued team providing specialist advice and consultancy to primary, secondary and special schools and academies across Hertfordshire and beyond.  You will work with the ESD to build the team of champions for this work and will liaise with colleagues across the various achievement and business teams in the company.

You will have a track record of highly successful leadership in a school and you will be self-motivated and an excellent communicator.
