HR ASSISTANT / GRADUATE HR ASSISTANT

£23,000 p.a. plus excellent pension and performance bonus
Full time - permanent contract, 37 hours per week, flexible working will be considered

Are you a pro-active HR Assistant looking for a fresh, new challenge and passionate about taking the next step in your HR career?   You are, read on….  We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, well organised people who are interested in employment law and/or employee relations (ER).  If you have previous experience, that’s great, if not, no problem, you will be fully supported by our experienced senior HR professionals to help guide you along the way.

An excellent opportunity has arisen at Herts for Learning for a HR Assistant/Graduate HR Assistant who can help us meet the growing demand for our specialist school services.  You will either need to be working towards your CIPD or committed to progressing your professional development in a supported learning environment.

You’ll be working within a highly valued team providing specialist HR advice and consultancy to 500+ schools across Hertfordshire,  You will be the first line contact for Head Teachers, School Managers and Governors, therefore an ability to communicate and build relationships effectively at all levels is essential.

PERIPATETIC SCHOOLS FINANCIAL ADVISERS 

£21,688 p.a. to £25,266 p.a. (pro rata for part-time) plus excellent pension and performance bonus

Term time plus 2 weeks (full time will be considered), minimum working week 29.6 hours (4 days per week)

Based in East / North / South Hertfordshire

Are you looking to play a key role in supporting Hertfordshire’s schools and academies with their accounting and other financial management services?  Do you want to join a growing team with excellent opportunities for career progression in Financial Planning and Advisory Services?  If the answer is yes…then the role of a School Financial Adviser could be for you!

Financial Services for Schools are looking to appoint Schools Financial Advisers who possess accounting experience and can demonstrate their ability to explain financial information to budget holders and managers.

The post holder will be responsible for confident delivery of accounting and financial management advice to schools with minimal supervision. Financial accounting and bookkeeping experience is essential, as is the ability to apply financial regulations and policies.  As this is a peripatetic role you will be working across a group of schools either in the South, East or North areas of Hertfordshire and therefore the ability to travel to schools will be required.
