Autumn term 2016 training programme

HfL is working hard to make sure that we have a good understanding of the local and national issues that schools and settings are facing in a rapidly and constantly changing educational landscape and we are keen to tailor our programmes to flexibly meet your needs.

We make sure our programmes are delivered by experienced and expert educationalists; use research and evidence based information on a wide range of educational issues, and encourage sharing best and next practice both locally and more widely.

Our seasonal spotlight for the autumn term focuses on 'Resilience and wellbeing in times of change'. Following the Government's recent White Paper, which sets out their vision for schools over the next five years, the education sector is facing a new range of challenges. Resilience helps us to maintain our wellbeing in difficult circumstances and we have designed a number of training courses to help school staff focus on their personal resilience and wellbeing in times of change.

We know that paying attention to the professional development of all staff has a significant impact on staff wellbeing, motivation and improved outcomes for children and young people, so whether you are a newly qualified teacher wanting to increase your repertoire of teaching techniques or a manager wishing to further develop your career, Herts for Learning offers a range of training courses and development programmes to support you on that journey.
