Summer term 2017 training programme

HfL continues to work hard to ensure that it has a good understanding of the local and national issues that schools and settings are facing in a rapidly and constantly changing educational landscape and we are always keen to tailor our programmes so that they are value for money and flexible to meet your needs.

We know that paying attention to the professional development of all staff has a significant impact on staff wellbeing, motivation and improved outcomes for children and young people. Whether you are wanting to increase your repertoire of teaching techniques, a newly qualified teacher requiring support or a school leader keeping abreast of the latest changes, Herts for Learning offers a range of high-quality training courses and development programmes all designed to support you at all stages of your career.

Since the formation of Herts for Learning we have worked with schools and settings to meet their needs we are pleased that over 31,500 more children in Hertfordshire are now educated in good and outstanding schools and settings.

During the summer terms we are running 222 training courses, all of which are carefully planned and offer fantastic value. We always listen to feedback from previous course participants and over 90% have rated the quality of content and training materials as being good or excellent, and 96% rating the subject knowledge of their training course as good or excellent. We are striving to get that to 100% this year, so please continue to give us your constructive feedback and do tell us if you think there are gaps in our programme that should be filled. At HfL we offer a vast amount of expertise, which can be tailored to meet the individual needs of your educational setting. If you don’t see what you need in this brochure contact us to arrange bespoke training or consultancy.
