The Board and the Senior Leadership Team of Herts for Learning Limited (HfL) would like to express a huge thank you to Jan Paine as she retires from her post as Managing Director on 31st March 2017.
Since joining the organisation in May 2013, Jan has steered the company from its launch in September 2013 towards its national reputation as a high quality market leader in the area of school improvement. Under Jan’s leadership, the last four years have been a successful growth period, with the company receiving numerous awards, nominations and national recognition for its work. Jan has led the company from strength to strength, and has worked continuously to improve the range and quality of support on offer for Hertfordshire schools, as well as establishing a sustainable and firm footing for HfL in the changing educational landscape.
Jan has also been instrumental in founding the Herts for Learning Multi Academy Trust and establishing its vision, aims and objectives in collaboration with the HfL Ltd Board/leaders and the new Trustees of the MAT Board. The MAT Board and executive team are grateful that Jan will continue in her position as Chair of the Board of Trustees in the HfL MAT, overseeing the business of the Trust as it takes on its first academies.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude for the truly exceptional contribution Jan has made to Herts for Learning since its inception, and for building such a solid foundation for the future of the company.
As announced on 12th December 2016, Jan is succeeded by Andrew de Csilléry, who has been working with Jan since he joined Herts for Learning in January 2017 to ensure a seamless transition.
