Chris has recently been heavily involved in organisational change and organisational design programmes in schools, working with colleagues to partner with schools to address some of the more acute financial challenges faced.

He has led on industrial relations for schools fostering and maintaining positive partnerships with the recognised trade unions and professional associations.

Chris has been involved in policy development and regularly provides briefing notes for schools on upcoming HR issues. Having previously worked in a contracts and pay role he brings extensive experience and knowledge of pay and conditions of service for teaching and non-teaching staff in schools.

He is experienced in handling employee relations matters faced by employers such as disciplinary, performance capability, health and attendance, and grievances. This includes a strong knowledge base regarding safeguarding.

Chris began working in Human Resources supporting schools in 2005 and has an MA in Human Resource Management which gave CIPD accreditation.
