Back on Track: Languages
Back on Track: Language packages offer subject leaders and teachers support to prepare for the effective delivery of the primary languages curriculum upon wider school opening.
Packages include training and consultancy.
A series of termly (three) primary languages subject leader webinars will take place across the year to support subject leaders with identifying ways to amend the curriculum, to review key language concepts from the summer term and to highlight strategies and tools to support classroom teachers with diagnostic assessment and build on what children know and understand.
Primary language webinars will take place on
- Wednesday 16th September 2020
- Wednesday 13th January 2021
- Wednesday 21st April 2021

A bespoke plan will be created for the consultancy work for each school. The time can be used to support subject leaders and/or classroom teachers or can be used for in school training.
