Sentence structure

This series of videos provides teachers with a comprehensive and in depth look at the key concepts that underpin sentence construction as mapped out in the Primary National Curriculum.

The series is designed to enhance teachers’ subject knowledge, boost their confidence, and provide efficient and accessible strategies to support them to deliver impactful whole class sentence level practice sessions. Concepts are introduced, and revisited as complexity increases, in order to support deeper understanding.

The series of 11 videos is designed to be used flexibly by schools. Leaders may choose to use some, or all of the videos, to form the content of a whole school INSET session. Alternatively, leaders may direct individual teachers to all, or some of the videos, to support their personal CPD.
