KS2 reading fluency project autumn summary report

    Penelope Slater, Deputy Lead Adviser for Primary English, shares the findings of the autumn round of our exciting KS2 Reading Fluency Project.

    In light of the EEF’s recent report analysing the attainment gap, Herts for Learning’s KS2 Reading Fluency Project could not be more relevant.

    During the 8 week duration of the project, pupils in receipt of PPG funding made on average 29 months progress in reading comprehension (measured using the YARC test).
