    On-site technical support

    Our on-site technical support visits can be set at an interval that suits your school or setting. All HfL consultants are fully trained and DBS checked. We're available for all aspects of ICT technical support to ensure a school’s ICT systems are working effectively, supporting teachers and office staff to resolve issues quickly.

    Emergency call outs

    In the unlikely event that we cannot resolve the technical issue remotely, we will be happy to arrange for one of our technical consultants to visit and provide an on-site resolution. 98% of schools are serviced within 48 hours.

    Remote monitoring and maintenance

    Our remote monitoring and maintenance software ensures your critical equipment remains safe and secure. With problems reported and resolved before they effect the end users.

    Network solutions

    HfL offer network solutions to suit all budgets and scales. Options include RM CoP networks and bespoke solutuons. Anything from a small day nursery to a multi-site secondary school enviroment.

    We offer a network and infrastructure health check with key recommendations on potential cost saving and advancements that will benefit both staff and pupils.

    Remote access solutions (LARA - Login Anywhere Remote Access)

    Using the Login Anywhere Remote Access (LARA) solution enables schools and academies to access their MIS or files from home and from any device (tablet, iPads, Chromebook, smart phone etc.).

    MIS integration

    We can support you with the implementation of SIMS, to ensure you are setup and ready to go. Our installation services are underpinned by ongoing service desk support from our experienced Data Management Services team.

    Wireless installation and support

    Working with best-in-class wireless technology, our scalable networks are ideal for all educational settings, whether you are a single form entry primary school or a secondary school of 1,500 pupils. Our systems can include Guest access and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solutions.

    Email services

    HfL support either Office 365 Exchange or Gmail, with an experienced service desk that will assist you with any email queries - from creating a distribution list to setting up a new tenancy. Over 60,000 email accounts are supported in over 300 schools.

    Anti-virus

    HfL are able to provide McAfee Endpoint security which supports Windows 7, 8, and 10 computers, Windows 2008 R2 to Server 2019 and Apple Mac OSX.

    Consultancy and advice

    Proactive support and advice is available from account managers that fully understand specialist educational requirements across a range of solutions, including Apple iOS, Google for Education, Managed Wireless and Cloud Backup. Account managers provide strategic planning that explores new and affordable technologies and allow educational settings to plan ahead and maximise pupil potential.

    Multi academy trusts

    We can provide multi academy trusts with the tools and services they need to collaborate effectively, anything from a multi-site Microsoft Windows network to cloud storage solutions and unified communication platforms.


    Cloud services

    Backup and Restore

    A safe, secure and GDPR compliant backup solution. HfL offers a scalable, safe and monitored cloud backup solution. Leveraging the power of the Microsoft Cloud our backup solution is designed with schools in mind, automatically securing your important data with remote monitoring and troubleshooting included.

    Apple

    This service is for all educational settings needing help with managing school iPads. Using proven Lightspeed technology allows schools and academies to effectively manage all Apple devices.

    Google for education/G Suite
