This is an opportunity for schools to demonstrate their work with parents and give ideas to colleagues across the county. Good parental relationships will benefit schools by reducing complaints and can lead to improved pupil learning and results when parents are more involved with the school in a positive way.

By attending the conference, participants will:

    • have an opportunity to hear what other schools in the county are doing to build relationships with parents
    • hear about how their school can benefit by preventing complaints if relationships are good
    • understand how parental engagement can enhance pupils' learning
