Checklist for keeping animals in settings and schools
Prior to embarking on keeping an animal in your setting or school make sure that you have considered all aspects of pet ownership. Ensure that you read the wealth of guidance provided by the RSPCA.
The RSPCA strongly discourages the keeping of animals in schools but does provide an enormous amount of information and guidance that will support you with making an informed decision.
This checklist provides prompts that can be used as a starting point for discussions.
