Following the recent election process for two secondary phase non-executive directors, Herts for Learning Ltd (HfL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Beth Honnor and Andrew Wellbeloved as non-executive directors to the HfL Board.

Beth Honnor is the Headteacher at Marriotts School in Stevenage.  She brings over 14 years of senior leadership experience to the role, including being founding Deputy Headteacher at the Oasis Academy in Enfield.  Beth will replace Kate Smith on the HfL Board from April 2019.

Andrew Wellbeloved is the Headteacher at Townsend School in St. Albans.  He joined the HfL Board in April 2016 and has been re-elected as a secondary phase non-executive director for a second term.  As a long serving Headteacher, Andrew has experience of being a Trustee of a large national organisation, as well as significant legal and accounting knowledge.

Robin Barrett, Chair of the HfL Board said, “We are delighted that two such experienced headteachers will be representing secondary schools on the HfL Board.  Their strategic skills and knowledge of the education sector are important to help us to be the organisation of choice for services, resources and products for our schools and the children they support.”

HfL extends its thanks to all of the candidates who stood for election and to our shareholder schools and academies for their participation in the election process.
