The Digital Classroom project is now open and provides free access for all Hertfordshire schools to a carefully selected series of resources to support and develop delivery of remote learning.
The project has been put together in response to feedback that schools have given us on the barriers they face to meeting the Department for Education’s introduction of legislation to ensure schools have a remote learning contingency plan in place, ideally with daily contact for learners.
Our Technology in Schools team have collaborated with our education teams to order both new and curated resources into eight sections designed to strengthen and support your remote learning offer.
The Digital Classroom offers advice and best practice from HfL and our partners from Google and Microsoft to Seesaw, Tapestry and Purple Mash on subjects including
- overcoming the Digital Divide
- adopting a digital classroom
- DfE platform provisioning
- staff training
- getting started…
- using G-suite from home
The platform is easy to navigate with information easily sub divided into distinct areas that you can access at your own pace with a useful search facility.
If you have pre-registered you will shortly receive an email with details of how to access the new platform.
If you have not registered already, please sign up today for free
We would like to thank Hertfordshire County Council for their support and for appointing HfL to deliver the Digital Classroom.
