GDPR Toolkit launched

    Published: 23 February 2018

Following requests from schools, academies and educational settings, Herts for Learning has developed a range of support services to help schools and settings in Hertfordshire and beyond meet the new data protection regulations (GDPR).

We have now launched an online toolkit to support you and your institutions prepare for and maintain compliance. This toolkit will evolve throughout the year as the regulation and school requirements develop so that, once purchased, you will be able to access growing content over the next 12 months. It has content provided by both our own educational experts and our legal support team from Winckworth Sherwood. Initially, there are guidance documents and templates to support an understanding of requirements, cultural change within schools, and templates to meet the new requirements for SAR (Subject Access Requests).

When content is added to the GDPR Toolkit, we will notify subscribers who have signed up to the mailing list from their online account.

How to subscribe to the new GDPR Toolkit

In addition to this GDPR Toolkit, we are delivering a range of briefings for Data Protection Officers (DPOs) and administrative staff in schools. Booking information for these sessions can be found here (please search for GDPR and DPO courses by selecting 'Data Management Services' in the subject search box).

The Herts for Learning GDPR Toolkit is available to all schools and settings, not just those based in Hertfordshire.

Please email if you have any queries about our GDPR support.
