Herts for Learning appoints Head of Technology in Schools

    Herts for Learning (HfL), is delighted to announce the Chris Bramwellappointment of Chris Bramwell as Head of Service – Technology in Schools with effect from January 2020.

    Chris is an experienced technology leader, having spent more than 25 years both in the public and private sectors including ten years as a head of IT at BT.   Much of Chris’ career has focussed on delivering ‘fit for purpose’ IT solutions and technology-enabled change.  This included delivering Wi-Fi for the Olympic venues and ensuring that BT Mobile launched without a hitch.  

    Chris safely migrated over half a billion digital documents to the cloud for the Department of Work and Pensions and understands the criticality of safe data storage.

    Chris loves to see technology making people’s lives a little better and the potential of EdTech to do just this.

    Commenting on the appointment, Herts for Learning’s Director of Business Services, Catherine Tallis, said:
