Capita has reaccredited the Data Management Services (DMS) team at Herts for Learning (HfL) for their SIMS support to schools and academies.
The DMS team, who have been accredited by Capita since 2008, received their reaccreditation in July. The accreditation will last for three years until 2022.
The accreditation looks at how schools and academies receive effective and value-for-money support from the DMS team.
As part of the process, the DMS team asked schools to complete a survey about the effectiveness of the service they provide. A total of 245 schools responded and consultants from Capita completed two school visits (one primary and one secondary).
“It is incredibly important for the DMS team at Herts for Learning to be recognised by Capita, as it demonstrates the quality of our service and the support we provide,” said Jennie Readings, Head of DMS at Herts for Learning.
“We are passionate in supporting our schools to get the best from their Management Information System, which underpins everything schools work so hard to do to deliver a great education for children.
“The positive comments from the schools who completed the survey are an acknowledgment of the great support that we consistently strive to provide.”
During the summer break, in recognition of the award, Capita’s Services Director, Alan Dean, presented the team with a trophy.
The DMS team would like to say a special thanks to Our Lady Catholic Primary School, Hitchin and Marriotts School, Stevenage, who generously gave up their time to meet with the Accreditation team from Capita to give their views on the training and support they get from Herts for Learning.
As a thank you, all returns of the accreditation survey were entered into a prize draw, with the chance to win an iPad for their school. The winning school was Wheatfields Junior School, St Albans.
