Supporting EYFS practitioners through the changes to the EYFS statutory framework

The EYFS framework that sets the standards to make sure that children aged from birth to 5 learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe is changing from September 2021.

UK GOV | Guidance: Changes to the early years foundation stage (EYFS) framework

To support all Ofsted registered early years providers in all settings, (including nurseries, childminders, pre-schools and reception classes) with these new changes, our team of specialist EYFS advisers have developed a range of resources and training courses including a conference with nationally acclaimed speakers in March 2022.

National Early Years Conference 2022 - Child development: a fresh look at the curriculum

    Wednesday 2nd March 2022

A child whose fifth birthday falls in the summer of 2021 will have experienced more than a quarter of their life in the shadow of coronavirus, yet we know that the early years are crucial to establishing skills and knowledge that underpin life-long success. The changes to the statutory requirements in the EYFS are coming at a critical time that requires us to rethink what constitutes an effective Early Years curriculum.

This conference will bringing together some of the country’s leading Early Years specialists to share their first-hand experience, knowledge and expertise to explore these crucially important aspects of Early Years provision. The programme of keynote addresses and workshops will provide delegates with the opportunity to explore the important interconnections between child development and a responsive curriculum matched carefully to children’s needs.
