Lead Wellbeing Adviser

Before becoming part of Herts for Learning, Karin worked as an adviser to schools across all phases in four local authorities, including two London boroughs. Her support for schools is rooted in solution-focused approaches and a commitment to equalities, safeguarding and humanity. Her expertise for supporting school leaders in responding to and resolving complex bullying cases and parental complaints has been highly valued by Hertfordshire’s schools throughout her time in HfL. Karin oversees the delivery of a wide range of pupil wellbeing support, including anti-bullying, anti-prejudice, on and offline safety, emotional wellbeing, behaviour for learning and relationship and sex education. She recognises that pupil wellbeing is core to aspiration, high attainment and achieving the best possible future life chances. Across the years, her work has consistently received recognition for being high quality, practical and cutting edge.
