Detailed English plan - Year 6 - Discussion - Summer
This detailed English plan will support teachers with year 6 classes to deliver an exciting and engaging unit of work based on discussion texts.
The plan has been designed to stretch children’s thinking and discussion skills following submission of KS2 writing judgements.
The plan weaves together the statements from the reading (word reading and comprehension) and writing (transcription, handwriting, composition, VGP and spelling) components of the 2014 curriculum, showing how all of these aspects of learning can be addressed through creative learning experiences.
