ESSENTIALmaths - Managing coverage and transition
This is the first year that schools are implementing the Essential maths resources to help structure the mathematics curriculum. As such, many school leaders have expressed concerns about managing coverage and the pace of learning. This guidance paper is written in response and offers some practical advice to support leaders to develop a plan to address this.
