GDPR toolkit - privacy notices
The privacy notice is a key tool for schools and academy trusts to comply with the transparency requirements under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Under UK GDPR it is critical that stakeholders are made aware of what data you may collect about them and how you will use it. These sample privacy notices have been created to help schools create, and then distribute, compliant notices.
The example shorter and simpler privacy notices are designed to be used in addition to the full versions for those settings wishing to adopt a layered approach for their privacy notices.
