KS1 guided reading booklet
The Herts for Learning English team have produced a suite of materials to support teachers with the recording of assessment within Guided Reading from EYFS through to the end of Key Stage 1.
The Guided Reading Booklet contains a range of information to support tracking, assessment and planning and brings together the Age-related expectations for both comprehension and word reading.
The materials align the National Curriculum expectations, HfL reading assessment criteria, HfL Reading Tracker, Institute of Education Book Banding system, and Letters and Sounds phonics phases and will inform progression in teaching as well as assessment.
