KS1 guided reading booklet
The Herts for Learning English team have produced a suite of materials to support teachers with the recording of assessment within Guided Reading from EYFS through to the end of Key Stage 1.
The Guided Reading Booklet contains a range of information to support tracking, assessment and planning and brings together the Age-related expectations for both comprehension and word reading.
The materials align the National Curriculum expectations, HfL reading assessment criteria, HfL Reading Tracker, Institute of Education Book Banding system, Reading Recovery/Fischer Family Trust book Levels and Letters and Sounds phonics phases and will inform progression in teaching as well as assessment.
