KS2 guided reading toolkit and CD
This toolkit provides a comprehensive overview of the expectations of the 2014 National Curriculum for reading and includes a range of tools and approaches to support schools in meeting them. For ease of use, core materials are organised into a section for each year group, containing record sheets for planning and assessment, questioning suggestions, writing tasks and booklists.
Introductory chapters support effective development of reading skills to guide in-school CPD or work with individual teachers or year groups.
Appendix 1: Frequently Asked Questions addresses particular queries that often arise when schools consider their guided reading practice. Further appendices on developing comprehension, fluency, and reading aloud to children provide professional development in the teaching of reading.
Also available as part of the PA Plus subscription package to subscribers - KS2 guided reading toolkit - digital download (booklet only).
