Mixed age long term planning overview
This set of long term English plans for the whole school, are an alternative to the original planning overview.
This plan has been designed with mixed aged classes in mind, as it provides a two year rolling programme of study suitable for classes spanning two year groups. The plans could equally be used in single year groups to support differentiation.
These plans aim to deliver a balance of writing genres across each key stage in order for children to practise the range of skills required in the curriculum.
