This transactional writing scheme is designed to get students to develop the skills needed for the writing tasks in the examinations; legacy and new specifications alike. The scheme covers all the writing types assessed including: writing to argue, advise, instruct, explain and persuade as well as the most popular writing forms such as letters, articles and speeches. The scheme may be taught as a whole, or as mini units.
