PVI - Essentials Plus consultancy package
Tailored to your needs.
Each setting is as unique as the children within it so our packages are designed with you, for you.
Continuous evaluation of practice is vital to promote improvement and helps you continue to provide high‑quality education and childcare to improve children’s outcomes. As a leader or manager of an Early Years setting, the Essentials Plus package will support you in planning a programme of continuous quality improvement for your setting.
The Essentials Plus package enables you to plan a programme of support and spread the cost over a 12-month period.
The package includes three half-day consultancy visits (delivered one per term) and one facilitated staff meeting to be delivered within the 12-month period. In discussion with the EYC, you will plan this support to meet the needs of your quality improvement plan.
The half-day consultancy visits will consist of a three-hour visit to your setting by the EYC. The focus for the visit will have been agreed with the EYC prior to the visit. The initial visit will include some time to plan the work for the 12 months. The follow‑up visit will enable progress to be monitored and celebrated.
The staff meeting will consist of a one and a half hour (maximum 25 individuals) meeting facilitated by an EYC. The agenda for the meeting will have been agreed with the EYC before it takes place. The staff meeting can be planned any time within the 12‑month period to meet the needs of your setting.
The Essentials Plus package provides a sound basis for planning your quality improvement with regular consultancy visits. Our EYC can work with you to provide that additional pair of professional eyes, supporting you with your self evaluation.
