PVI - Essentials remote support package
Tailored to your needs.
Each setting is as unique as the children within it so our packages are designed with you, for you.
The Essentials Remote Support package provides you with a tailored online evaluation and support programme that meets the needs of your quality improvement plan delivered in partnership with you by an experienced Early Years Consultant.
The Essentials Remote Support package is designed to be:
- tailored to meet your needs
- delivered in a way that enables professional reflective discussion linked to Ofsted criteria and EYFS Statutory Framework
- planned at a time that can enable participation of all team members, or one to one with leaders or staff with designated responsibility
- supports continued professional development.
The package enables you to access to a programme of regular consultancy support and spread the cost over a 12-month period.
It includes three one and half hour remote consultancy sessions and an additional one and a half hour team training session.
The support is designed in discussion with your allocated Herts for Learning Early Years Consultant (EYC) to provide a tailored support programme that meets the needs of your quality improvement plan. Some of the topics covered in sessions with leaders are:
- effective action planning and self-evaluation
- effective staff supervision
- room leader coaching
- monitoring and reflecting on the quality of teaching within the setting
- assessment moderation with key persons
- effective safeguarding practice
- supporting the learning and development of disadvantaged and vulnerable children.
The timing and topic of the one and a half hour training/staff meeting is planned by you in discussion with your EYC. The remote session will be facilitated by an EYC who will provide coaching and training to engage practitioners in new ways of thinking and professional discussion.
The time, date and focus of the one and a half hour remote consultancy sessions will be agreed with you beforehand and delivered though MS Teams or similar video conferencing platform. After each session, a written report is provided to reflect the professional conversation and note the recommendations. This helps to act as a reference point to inform your self-evaluation and journey of quality improvement.
A totally bespoke package can also be provided for your setting’s needs and the package can be delivered at planned points agreed with you throughout the year.
The PVI Essentials Remote Support package provides a good starting point for your quality improvement planning and will help support readiness for Ofsted.
