Stranded planning platforms Years 1-6
The Herts for Learning ‘Planning Platforms’ support teachers with their daily planning and teaching of writing against the expectations of the 2014 National Curriculum.
They provide full curriculum coverage for individual year groups, These enable teachers to offer appropriate stretch and challenge across the learning needs of their classes.
This stranded document is laid out to show the progression across year groups 1-6 for each objective.
Class teachers could use this document to identify suitable objectives for children working above or below the expectations for their year group.
School leaders will be able to use the document to monitor and evaluate pitch and expectations in writing across year groups.
The planning platforms are also available as individual years and as combined years 1-6.
