Teaching and learning research projects
Herts for Learning teaching and learning projects are developed to replicate the results of previous successful small scale work with schools, solve new or existing problems or support or develop new approaches. Our evidence-informed projects:
- are used to develop further knowledge on a specific topic drawing on a range of existing academic research
- use a variety of tools to establish baselines and impact measures
- are based on robust qualitative and/or quantitative data which allows schools to have confidence in their effectiveness.
Initial small scale research often leads to the development of a robust project, building upon what has been proven to be effective practice that can be shared with a wider audience. Participating schools will help to shape future learning and development and share findings.
