Kay Leach (Secondary)

    Kay is privileged to support schools across a comprehensive spectrum of contexts, including MATs, special schools and ESCs, both within and outside of Hertfordshire. She has worked intensively with schools judged to require special measures and continued this improvement work to guide them through to ‘good’. She has worked with senior leaders, middle leaders and governors to assist with effective self-evaluation, shaping school development plans, evaluating the impact of the curriculum and conducting quality assurance across the school. This support is to enable school leaders to bring about rapid, sustainable improvements in their provision to enhance the life chances of the young people in their care. Kay has a degree in Economics and prior to joining the world of education, worked as a full-time legal adviser for the Citizens Advice Bureau. She has taught both in London and Hertfordshire, and has worked as a middle and senior leader in outstanding schools.
