This is a suggested daily routine for a reception class.  It provides an idea of how a day might flow between adult led and child initiated activities. The daily routine has been written from the perspective of the child and ensures that there is a good balance of activities.  Timings should always be flexible and reflect the needs of the cohort and the time of the year in which their learning is taking place.
