GDPR toolkit - privacy notices
The privacy notice will be a key tool for schools and academy trusts to comply with the transparency requirements when the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) comes into force on 25 May 2018.
Under GDPR it is critical that stakeholders are made aware of what data you may collect about them and how you will use it. These sample privacy notices have been created to help schools create, and then distribute, compliant notices.
The example shorter and simpler privacy notices are designed to be used alongside the full version for those settings wishing to adopt a layered approach for their privacy notices.
