Key Stage 1 Mathematics TAFs within single and mixed year ESSENTIALmaths 2019-20
ESSENTIALmaths is written to support the curriculum for primary teachers. The sequences are written as a spiral curriculum in which learning is built upon step by step, sequence by sequence and year on year.
The Key Stage 1 Mathematics TAFs within ESSENTIALmaths documents have been developed as a tool to identify where there are opportunities for teaching and learning linked to specific statements in the Teacher Assessment Frameworks (TAFs) for 2019-20.
The suite of documents detail the learning sequences and steps within both the single and mixed year ESSENTIALmaths resources where evidence of the ‘pupil can’ statements for the three standards (WTS, EXS and GDS) could be found.
