Continuous evaluation of practice is vital to promote improvement and helps you continue to provide high‑quality education and childcare to improve children’s outcomes. As a leader or manager of an Early Years setting, our Essential packages will support you in planning a programme of support or development for your setting.
There are 5 packages to choose from as outlined in the table below so that you can select the level of consultancy that would best meet the needs of your setting. *
Why buy an Essentials package?
- Buying an Essentials package enables you to plan a programme of support and spread the cost over a 12-month period.
- In discussion with your EYC, you will agree the focus of consultancy support and how best to utilise the time.
- The one and a half hour staff meeting, for up to 25 team members, is facilitated by an EYC who will provide activities to engage practitioners in new ways of thinking and discussions.
- The bespoke training session* is designed to engage practitioners in activities to support their professional development and inform their daily practice.

Which package is right for me?
The Essentials package provides a good starting point for a programme of evaluation activity, delivered in partnership with you by an experienced Early Years Consultant (EYC).
The Essentials Plus package provides a sound basis for planning your reflective journey with regular consultancy visits. Our EYC can work with you to provide that additional pair of professional eyes, supporting you with your self-evaluation.
The Essentials Premium package is designed to help managers and leaders work towards an ambitious vision for their setting, ensuring high standards of childcare and education. Meeting this vision relies on focused continuous quality reflection to ensure effective practice that enables positive outcomes for all children.
The Essentials Plus Training package provides a programme of training sessions tailored for you and your team to build confidence and cohesion in practice, followed by a remote consultation with your EYC to plan your next steps.
The Essentials Remote Support package provides you with a tailored online evaluation and support programme that is delivered in partnership with you by an experienced EYC.
